1. Upgrade open space areas in the village centre:
· conversion of the old tennis shed to a performance stage
· removal of the fence from around the Historical Society
· water fountain/bubbler at village square
2. Underground power lines in the village centre Main St precinct
3. Continue the work on vegetation management to rehabilitate river and along the creeks. Includes improved land use at rear of the shops (a better experience of the river), eg platypus walk
4. A tree planting program for the Main St
5. Upgrading of the park opposite Sports Ground – eg seating/bollards/bins/water fountain
6. Interpretive signage for significant environmental work, aboriginal heritage and places of historical significance
7. Promote sustainability of heritage and the environment
8. Renovate the general store façade to meet the heritage status of the village centre
9. Establish Uki Environment Centre (includes enviro/garden club)
10. Convert the existing public toilet sewerage connection to composting toilets
11. Showcase Uki as an environmentally aware community – carbon neutral, no plastic bags, sustainable use of resources (rainwater/solar), awareness campaign
