Our Uki Village slogan seems to have evolved as "Putting the Unity into Community". This little village, nestled at the base of Wollumbin (Mt Warning) is home to an ecclectic mob of friendly locals, willing to help anyone with anything at anytime. (mostly)!
The village consists of a small number of shops, a renowned cafè, a country style pub, two galleries, two studios, 2 wholistic health centres, old wares, a great bookshop, Re's Intrigues, a boutique baby shop and an internet cafè! That's just the main street !
Nearby we have more galleries, great swimming holes and of course the panorama from the Wollumbin summit. (If you're in for the 2 hour climb up)
There are a number of fine Bed & Breakfasts in the area, (most with spectacular views of the mountain) and a weekend stay can prove to be an interlude of delight in an otherwise hectic lifestyle.
