Re's Intrigues
  
 One of the lovely shops in the Old Buttery is ‘Re’s Intrigues’. Re is a collector of many things and her shop is a true cornucopia. She has a terrific eye for beautiful things and if you are looking for that gift of difference from the past, her small but intimate little corner will allure you with a vast collection of 1950s coloured glass, coloured lamps and other antiquities. Originally from Melbourne, now retired from the world of Melbourne’s finest restaurants and marketing companies, she is still the entrepreneur. Let Re’s Intrigues enthral you.
 Old and wise like her wares, Re is a hobnob of information. Next to the shop entrance she hosts the i sign which can often be seen to relax the confused frowns on the faces of many a tourist. Known as the quiet ambassador of Uki she is always there to direct them to our resorts and restaurants.  More than a beacon for the lost traveller, the table outside her shop is seldom vacant. Many locals are seen to drop by and engage in close conversation with the sturdy matriarch. Is it her big heart, her patient ear, the soft shoulder or the open mind? Re’s intrigues indeed!
